Prez condoles schoolkids' death in Haryana mishap

While conveying his condolences to the next of kin of those who lost their lives, Kalam wished those injured early recovery.

President APJ Abdul Kalam on Wednesday condoled the death of several school children in a bus accident in Sonepat in Haryana.

In a letter to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the President said he was deeply saddened by the tragedy and "is sure that the State Government is providing all possible help to the bereaved families."

While conveying his condolences to the next of kin of those who lost their lives, Kalam wished those injured early recovery.

While six children drowned, 23 others were rescued.
