Professors on indefinite fast

The Temporary Professors Association has resolved to continue indefinite stir till Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accepts its demands.

According to a release, association’s Dr Narendra Tiwari has started his indefinite fast. The association has demanded that the chief minister looked into the irregularities related to appointments of new professors in government colleges.

Yash Singh of the association, whose condition is stated to be critical following indefinite fast, has been admitted to JP Hospital.

The professors complained that though the protests have been on since March 9, no attention has been paid to the demands.
