Programme for senior citizens

VARISHTHA NAGRIK Vichar Manch (VNVM) will organise a programme for senior citizens this month. Under the programme information about the various ailments, which occur in old age, and the measures to prevent them would be given at the programme.

VARISHTHA NAGRIK Vichar Manch (VNVM) will organise a programme for senior citizens this month. Under the programme information about the various ailments, which occur in old age, and the measures to prevent them would be given at the programme.

The information about income tax and saving schemes would also be given at the programme. Dr Satish Kumar Shukla, Dr D K Taneja, Dr Nari Masand and finance specialist Rajendra Goyal would also address the programme.

The decision to organise seminar on discussion over Vastu, building construction and other subjects under the aegis of Manch and Institute of Engineers Indore chapter was taken at the general meeting of Manch held recently.

Manch regional convener Chandra Shekhar Dave, Mohan Rege and Ravindra Dutta were also present at the conference.
N V Patwardhan presided over the meeting, while Chandra Shekhar Kanungo conducted the meeting.

Mass marriages
A total of six couples tied matrimonial knots at the mass marriage and youth introductory meet programme organised by the Khandelwal Vaishya Panchayati Sabha yesterday.

Ghanshyamdas Maharaj, social worker Kailash Shahara, Premswarup Khandelwal and Gulab Chand Khandelwal were the special invitees of the programme.

The couples were presented with the household things and other gifts at the programme. A magazine containing information about the eligible youth, a telephone diary and a new-year calendar was presented to all the participants.

Around 5000 community members participated in the meet. Santosh Khandelwal, Murlidhar Dhamani and others welcomed the guests.
