“The victim was identified as Anshu Tiwari. He was a property dealer with his office at Sector 40. Manoj Gujjar, resident of Baraula, was his partner,” Senior Superintendent of Police A K Singh said.
Singh said around 12.30 pm, Tiwari had gone with Gujjar. Around 7 pm, Tiwari’s body was found in the car parking of Kailash Hospital. He was rushed to the hospital’s emergency ward where he was declared brought dead, he said.
The victim’s brother T Tiwari said: “In the evening, someone informed us that my brother was shot at but he did not gave the location. We informed the police.”
Accused Manoj Gujjar is absconding.
The police were trying to investigate the motive of crime. His body had three bullet injuries and other marks too.
“It appeared he was first beaten up and then shot ,”said Tiwari.
