Protest at toll plaza

Fed up with inadequate facilities at toll plazas on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, residents participated in yet another protest march on Sunday, demanding removal of the tax booths. HT reports.

Fed up with inadequate facilities at toll plazas on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway, residents participated in yet another protest march on Sunday, demanding removal of the tax booths.

The Toll Hatao Sangarsh Samiti organised a bike rally, where they raised slogans against the lack of facilities. The rally started from old Gurgaon and ended at the Delhi-Gurgaon toll plaza. The participants assembled at the toll gates near the Delhi border for more than 30 minutes and distributed pamphlets to commuters about their campaign. However, vehicular movement was not disturbed.
