Earlier, there was uncertainty over the venue of public meeting of Bharti, who reaches here on March 3 with her ongoing Janadesh Yatra.

Three venues were considered for the meeting - Rajwada Chouraha, Rambag grounds and Patnipura crossing. Though a section of Uma supporters wanted to hold the public meeting at Patnipura crossing as a show of strength against the once blue-eyed boy of Bharti and State PWD Minster Kailash Vijayvargiya, whose residence is just a stone’s throw away, it was finally decided to hold it somewhere in the central part of the City.

Though Rambag ground is an ideal place, there was fear whether they would be able to gather that much of a crowd as the ground is big.

Finally they came round to the view to hold the meeting at Rajwada. Today, Prahlad Patel, Inder Prajapat, Munna Thekedar and Manoj Shindwe took a look around Rajwada area and finally decided to hold the meeting at Krishnapura Chhatri near Rajwada. They talked to district Collector Vivek Aggarwal, who also gave the green signal for the venue.

As per Uma Bharti’s schedule on March 3, she would enter from Bada Ganpati and would be escorted to the venue at Krishnapura Chhatri. There would be innumerable welcome gates all along the Yatra route, Prajapat said.
