An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 shook Israel on Saturday with no immediate reports of casualties or damage,
Army Radio
reported.
The epicenter was located in central Israel but the quake was felt throughout the country.
Minor earthquakes are not uncommon in Israel and surrounding countries.
