Gandhi, who arrived by an Air India flight at Karippur airport near Kozhikode, immediately left for Kasaragod in northern Kerala by a helicopter.

After addressing Youth Congress workers in Kasaragod, Gandhi would later participate in meetings at Wayanad and Kollam before leaving for Delhi, party sources said.
