Rahul promises all help

GRIEF ON the faces of the family members of the Haj pilgrims who died in stampede in Mina, moved Member of Parliament from Amethi, Rahul Gandhi, to tears. He promised all possible help to them from the Central government. Rahul, accompanied with party functionaries Kishorilal Sharma and Manoj Mattu, arrived here in the morning and went straight to every house in the district that had lost a member in the stampede on January 12. These pilgrims belonged to Amethi constituency. Rahul paid his deep condolence to the family .

GRIEF ON the faces of the family members of the Haj pilgrims who died in stampede in Mina, moved Member of Parliament from Amethi, Rahul Gandhi, to tears.

He promised all possible help to them from the Central government.

Rahul, accompanied with party functionaries Kishorilal Sharma and Manoj Mattu, arrived here in the morning and went straight to every house in the district that had lost a member in the stampede on January 12.

These pilgrims belonged to Amethi constituency. Rahul paid his deep condolence to the family and advised them to keep all related Haj documents safely, to be suitably compensated. It is to be noted that five pilgrims from three families met their end in the stampede.

First Rahul reached Chandgarh in Nahargarh village and met with four daughters of late Mohd. Shabeer and his wife Zainab Khatoon. He also went to Banbaria and met her family members.

He spent time with them inside the house for about 15 minutes and then reached Shukul Bazar village in Nidda Ka Purwa and met with the family of Akhtarun Nissa. After meeting her son Zubair, a student of class-II, Rahul announced to bear all expenditure of education of the boy.

Here he came to know about the tragedy in which the houses of Mohd Rafique and Rashid were destroyed in a fire.

Rahul visited the victims and expressed his deep concern.
