Rahul promises solutions

CONGRESS MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said a solution to Rae Bareli and Amethi’s power and water problems would be found soon.
“We are aware of the problems. We are working on them. We will find a solution,” Rahul told the Hindustan Times.
He was initially reluctant to answer any question.
“Today, it is all her show,” he said pointing at Sonia Gandhi. “I will speak in Amethi.”
Rahul skipped a question about assuming greater responsibility in the party organisation, when reminded about Sonia Gandhi’s observations on the issue.
Replying to a question at Gurbakshganj here, Sonia had said, “Put this question to Rahul Gandhi. He is on the backseat of my car.” Asked when he would begin touring Uttar Pradesh in view of the Vidhan Sabha elections, Rahul said, “Let us see. Yes, Vidhan Sabha polls are drawing closer.”
Rahul, who accompanied his mother Sonia Gandhi on her tour of the constituency, was concerned about the problems that people drew his attention to.
During the day, Rahul remained in the backseat, but in the evening, he mingled with people and gave them a patient hearing.
