The Weather Watch Group made this forecast quoting the National Interim Weather Forecast Centre, Noida.
Most places - like Agra, Aligarh, Etah, Azamgarh, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Kannauj, Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Barabanki, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Bijnore, Lucknow, Varanasi and Rae Bareli, and many other places experienced rains on Wednesday and Thursday.
Both the current situation and the forecast have nothing seriously adverse for the wheat crop. And the rain has brought some relief to all those farmers who were awaiting some irrigation to their fields.
