Raj meets Thackeray, greets him on birthday

Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray celebrates his 79th birthday today.

Former Shiv Sena leader Raj Thackeray on Monday met his uncle and party supremo Bal Thackeray to wish him on his 79th birthday.

Raj drove to Thackery residence 'Matoshree' at suburban Bandra, and was with the Sena Chief for about half an hour, sources said.

Raj, who has recently completed his first leg of statewide tour, has announced that he would launch a new political party in March.

On December 18, Raj had quit Sena and announced his decision to float a new party.
