Raje Govt invites Bainsla for talks

A letter has been handed over to him at the stir site in Bharatpur's Pilupura-Karwadi area by a senior official.

In a fresh bid to resolve the fortnight-long Gujjar stir for ST status, Rajasthan government on Thursday invited agitation spearhead KS Bainsla for talks.

A letter to this effect was handed over to Bainsla at the agitation site in Bharatpur's Pilupura-Karwadi area by state's Principal Secretary (Irrigation) SN Thanvi, who has been asked by the Vasundhara Raje government to deal with the Gujjar stir.

Thanvi, who signed the letter, told PTI that Bainsla has assured him of a reply.
