The Rajya Shiksha Sansthan has created a unique syllabus for the students of class XI to class XII which would help the students achieve the ambitious goals set by the Sansthan.
The proposed course book on Physical Education envisaged by the Sansthan containe the principles of perfect physical and mental fitness enumerated by Baba Ramdev. Most of the teachings of Baba Ramdev were inducted in the books on Physical Training approved by the Sansthan. Exercises on Yoga and Pranayam were also included in the book to help students develop the art of concentration.
Besides international games and sports, the book also contained detailed information about Indian sports like kho-kho, kabbadi and various other such games. It also carried information about sports celebrities and the awards given to them.
In short the book is a complete Encyclopedia of knowledge required for better development of physical and mental abilities of young students. The book is likely to be introduced in the schools from the current academic session.
However, many of the schools would be without a physical instructors for want of suitable candidates. Fund crunch and administrative complexities have discouraged many schools in appointing qualified physical instructors.
