Record deposit of UGAT forms

Taking notice of the increasing number of students, the authorities had extended the time for submission of entrance test forms upto 4.30 pm instead of 2 pm for the convenience of the students.
According to director UGAT- 2006 Prof AP Sinha, a total of 47,909 forms were sold on the last date with late fee on Wednesday out of which 38,188 were of general, 9721 of SC/ST/Physically Handicapped. The total forms submitted were 40,820 out of which 22,686 for BA, 18,446 for B Sc and 5,688 for B Com classes.
The number forms submitted this year is greater than the forms submitted last year the figure for which was 38000.
The forms for admission to post-graduate courses will be available at the Pravesh Bhawan from May 27 to June 5 and the entrance test would be held between June 27 and July 2. The cost of post-graduate forms is Rs 250 for general and Rs 100 for SC/ST/Physically handicapped. The forms for wards of third and fourth grade employees of AU will cost Rs 100 only.
