Saint Peter’s Basilica half-built and the Colosseum in ruins: developers at the French firm, Ubisoft, have rebuilt 16th-century Rome for the latest installment of the video game phenomenon, Assassin’s Creed — Brotherhood — to be released next month.

Saint Peter’s Basilica half-built and the Colosseum in ruins: developers at the French firm, Ubisoft, have rebuilt 16th-century Rome for the latest installment of the video game phenomenon, Assassin’s Creed — Brotherhood — to be released next month. They used 16th-century maps and records, and consulted historians, to recreate Rome as it looked at the time.
