Om Prakash Arora, resident of Keshav Puram, said he has been waiting since 2002 even after being allotted a plot in Palam Vihar and paying the cost.

“The chief administrator, Huda, Panchkula, offered freehold residential plots in Sectors 42, Palam Vihar 1 and 2, in March 2002, and I applied for the same. But I am struggling to get the same despite the fact that the entire amount has been paid.”

After five years, he got an offer to take the plot within a month. He visited Huda office, where instead of the plot, he was given August 15, 2007, as the target date. After the target date passed, he visited Huda office, only to learn that the case is still pending.

Huda administrator Nitin Kumar Yadav said he can’t comment until he gets a clear picture of the issue.
