Revenue officer, patwari suspended

DISTRICT COLLECTOR Sanjay Kumar Shukla today suspended a revenue officer and a patwari due to carelessness in demarcation of land. A farmer of Jhagariya Khurd had registered a complaint in this regard to the Chief Minister?s online Samadhan.

DISTRICT COLLECTOR Sanjay Kumar Shukla today suspended a revenue officer and a patwari due to carelessness in demarcation of land. A farmer of Jhagariya Khurd had registered a complaint in this regard to the Chief Minister’s online Samadhan.

According to information, a villager of Jhagariya Khurd Bramhadev Prasad Singh applied for land demarcation to officials of Bhopal Tehsil Huzur on April 5 last year.

Senior officials of Tehsil Huzur had ordered to carry out the demarcation of the land on May 3 last year. However, the revenue inspector S K Tantway and Patwari Babulal Agrawal did not carry out the demarcation of the land.

Singh had registered a complaint to the Chief Minister in this regard. This complaint was included in the list of Chief Minister’s online Samadhan today. Taking quick action, the district collector Sanjay Kumar Shukla suspended both the officials. Besides, the demarcation work was also carried out within hours today.

Six BMC defaulters’ properties attached
THE BHOPAL Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration today attached properties of six defaulters and snapped 36 water tap connections of water tax defaulters.

According to official information, the BMC administration today collected an amount of Rs 36.41 lakh under its various offices.

The defaulters whose properties were attached included Rajiv Sewaramani of ward 18, Mangal Bhawan of ward 24, Rajendra Jain and Brothers (Petrol Pump) of ward 45 and Duraiya of ward 66. The BMC administration has speeded up the work of revenue collection for the past one week.
