Rich tributes paid to Lt Gurung

A GUARD of Honour was paid to Lt Gautam Gurung here at the Gorkha Recruitment Depot on his 8th death anniversary. Paying tributes, Brigadier CP Thapa said, ?Sacrificing for the country is a matter of glory for army men.? He said the sacrifices; courage and bravery of the Indian Army was unparallel. The family members of martyr were also present at the function and also paid rich tributes to Gurung. Brigadier CP Thapa and president of Bharat-Nepal Maitri Samaj Mohan Lal Gupta garlanded the statue of Gurung at GRD Crossing.

Paying his tribute, Gupta said that the statue of Gurung was a symbol, which would encourage youths to sacrifice their life for the benefit of humanity and integrity of the country.
