Robert Vadra will go to jail if BJP comes to power after LS polls, says Uma Bharti

"The son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi has been involved in several falsehoods and after the election if the BJP comes to power, then you must be sure that he would be in jail," she said.

She also alleged that the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh was trying to win the Lok Sabha elections with the help of police. The ruling party promoted the policemen and in return they are helping the SP, she said.

The BJP in August last year had paralysed the proceedings in both Houses of Parliament launching a direct attack on Vadra over his alleged involvement in illegal land deals

The BJP MPs alleged that Congress governments in Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi bent rules to help Vadra, 44, reap rich profits through multiple land deals. A combative government and the Congress had later outrightly rejected the BJP’s allegations.
