The surface treatment on the fabrics and the use of a Japanese based cartoon character along with the clean lines created an air of difference.

COLLECTION

Inspiration: Drawn from the tough and rigorous life of the soldier. An attempt to make the human body comfortable against the rugged treatment of nature.

Silhouette: The silhouettes were slim, sleek and uncluttered. Trousers were long flared, low slung and refreshing. A pleasant surprise to see a pair of very high waist black pants. Hemlines rose and fell at whim: the skirt shapes were pleated, flipped and asymmetrical.

Colors: Strong red, muted green and blues.

Fabrics: Denim, Faux leather, and fine jacquard.

Prints: 60's art prints

Accessories: Boots, leather belts and gloves.

Don't miss: Honeycomb leitmotif that continued through out the collection.

Best look: Japanese cartoon character, with clean lines for a change.

Catwalk: One of the best displays choreographed by Lubna Adams. Models sported Cue range without falling short of energy on the ramp.
