Roller skating championship: Winners feted

The competitions were organised for number of categories for boys and girls. Started in 2002 with 35 members, ARSO now has over 1000 members. In order to popularise roller skating in the City, ARSO organised many free camps during the last three months this year.

“The camps were a huge success,” said ARSO secretary and coach Amar Bhatkar. According to ARSO president Jitendra Jaisawal, ARSO will regularly organise events and camps in the City. He thanked Housing Board for providing premises of Arjun Fitness Club for this purpose.

NVDA Chairman AV Singh, chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony, said that a specific roller-skating court should be constructed. Commissioner Housing Board JS Mathur, president MP Builders Association Dilip Suryavanshi, BDCA vice president Aruneshwar Singh Deo, Suraj, Prashant, Surendra, Sandip, Sunil, Anil, Toni, Zakir, winners of the championship and others were present on the occasion.
