Sudarshan, who met Dalai Lama at his residence in Mcleodganj in Dharamsala, said China should appreciate viewpoints of Dalai Lama and reciprocate accordingly.

He said Tibet was a buffer zone between India and China before independence and New Delhi committed a big mistake by accepting it as part of China.

Sudarshan said India and Tibet, both spiritual forces, could do their best to prevent eruption of any nuclear conflict in the world.

The RSS chief, whose meeting with the Dalai Lama lasted an hour, also met the 17th Karmapa.
