RSS protests Nagpur attack

ACTIVISTS OF Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) staged a silent demonstration at Gandhi statue, Phoolbagh here on Saturday, in protest against the recent attack on RSS headquarters in Nagpur.

A joint press communiqué released by RSS leaders Vasudev Vaswani, Venkatesh Subedar, Shyam Behari Gupta, Ashok Malhotra and others held the Union government responsible for the rising incidents of terrorist attacks in the country.

The terrorist attacks on Akshardham temple, Ram Janmabhoomi, Sankat Mochan temple and the bomb blasts in the national capital were some of the issues raised by the RSS leaders.

Efforts being made by the Union government for strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan were also ridiculed.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Manoj Shukla, Gappu Sahu and Narayan Das Omar. Central treasurer of VHP Ramnath Mahendra was also present on the occasion.
