?RUN FOR Fun? marked the Army Day in Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow today. MCTE Commandant Lt Gen M G Datar flagged off the race at 7.30 am today.

‘RUN FOR Fun’ marked the Army Day in Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow today. MCTE Commandant Lt Gen M G Datar flagged off the race at 7.30 am today. Around 802 people between the age groups of 20 and 70 years participated in the race. There were two routes for younger participants and the elders of approximately 2.5 and 6 km respectively.

Lieutenant Colonel H S Bhandari and Brigadier Gujral stood first and second in the age group 50-60 years. Lieutenant Colonel S D Umalker and Lieutenant Colonel N D Dravid won the first and second prizes in the 60-70 years group. Brigadier R N Sharma won the race in above 70 years group. Lieutenant Colonel V Madan and Brigadier J S Parmar shared the second position.

The winners of ladies group were S Pathak, wife of Colonel Pathak (55-60 years) and Uma Sharma, wife of Brigadier R N Sharma (60-70 years). M Borgaonkar, sister of Colonel Borgaonkar, bagged the prize in the above 70 years group.
