In the wake of violence in Rajasthan, the Union Home Ministry has enhanced the security to Congress MP from Dausa, Sachin Pilot, to 'Z' Category from 'X' Category.

Pilot, who belongs to the Gujjar community, will now get a round-the-clock guard at his residence, two Personal Security Officers (PSOs), including one with automatic weapon, and an escort vehicle, MHA sources said on Saturday.

They said the decision to upgrade his security was taken suo motu.
