Tendulkar's performance has been uncharecteristic of himself and made some even raise doubts that the best is over for him.

For some one, whose prowess to blunt even the most feared bowling attacks ensured that elaborate plans preceeded each of his appearance, Sachin Tendulkar's injury-plagued innings during the year has been a disappointment for fans.

Notwithstanding his recent record-248 against Bangladesh, Tendulkar's performance has been uncharecteristic of himself and made some even raise doubts that the best is over for him. Though he managed a stupendous 194 against Pakistan, but most of his innings are dotted with not too significant scores.

There is even a change in his usual style. He has started playing more conservatively and scoring most of his runs through deft touches and flicks rather than booming drives, and has managed to get clean bowled a few times.
