Salman case hearing deferred by a day

Rajasthan HC Judge HR Pawar seeks records from the lower court of the 5-year sentence passed on the actor for hunting an endangered deer 9 years ago.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan spent another day of uncertainty Thursday after the Rajasthan High Court postponed by a day the hearing on his bail plea and the revision plea of his jail sentence.

High Court Judge HR Pawar has sought records from the lower court of the five-year sentence passed on the actor for hunting an endangered deer nine years ago.

Salman was sent to jail on Friday for the offence. He has appealed against the sentence.
