Sanandotsava to begin tomorrow

SANAND NYAS will organise a two-day programme - ?Nakshatranche Dene? - under its annual Sanandotsava to create awareness about Marathi culture and traditions on Shri Vaishnav School premises under the aegis of Shri Vaishnav Shekshanik Evam Parmarthik Nyas from 7 pm onwards on January 21.

SANAND NYAS will organise a two-day programme - ‘Nakshatranche Dene’ - under its annual Sanandotsava to create awareness about Marathi culture and traditions on Shri Vaishnav School premises under the aegis of Shri Vaishnav Shekshanik Evam Parmarthik Nyas from 7 pm onwards on January 21.

Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) Vice Chancellor C S Chaddha and Babulal Baheti would be chief guests of the programme to be organised on day one, while Avtech executive vice-president Bhalchandra Khargonekar would be chief guest on the second day of the programme.

Nyas president Subhash Deshpande told reporters here today that the programme had been organised with the inspiration of Marathi gazal singer late Suresh Bhat and G D Madalgulkar. Singers Ravindra Sathe, Anuradha Marathe, Suvarna Mategaonkar and others, would present songs sung and composed by the duo.

The programme ‘Nakshtranche Dene’, based on the life of the singers, was earlier telecast on Alpha Marathi satellite TV channel.
