The Rs 1.5 lakh Swarovski crystals on Sania’s dress shone brighter in the light of the golden revolving jhumars (lanterns) that were placed all over the hall and stage. Behind the jhumars were elaborate flower arrangements of carnations and anthuriums. Every one of the thousand guests was introduced to the couple.

If the newly-weds were dressed by designers, the guests were not far behind.Hyderabad’s society wore its best jewellery for the occasion.
