Sayeed, accompanied by his wife, after casting his vote at 18-b Bijbehara polling station in his hometown, told reporters "the atmosphere is relaxed for polling. people of the state want peace".
On the low voter turnout in the early hours, the Chief Minister said "people are scared because of the incidents that took place last night but there is still a lot of time left to vote".
