ACCUSING THE BJP of doing politics devoid of principles, Bharatiya Janshakti president Uma Bharti on Sunday said her party was determined to tread on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Addressing a public meeting organised by the party, she said the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government had forsaken principles and alleged that rampant irregularities took place during Vidisha and Malehra by-polls.
She expressed hope that the BJ will form a “principled” government in the State after next assembly elections. Reiterating that State ministers had planned to murder her and the attack on her during Malehra by-poll was a part of the conspiracy, she said the police’s advice to wear bullet-proof jacket was proof enough.
