The Supreme Court on Thursday passed directions for bringing about reforms in jails relating to pregnant undertrials and children born in prisons.
The directions, delivered by a bench headed by Chief Justice YK Sabhrawal, included instructions related to undertrial children and those born to undertrial mothers.
