Schumacher wants more
Formula One’s king of the road is not quitting. Not just yet.
Formula One’s king of the road is not quitting. Not just yet. Michael Schumacher, with seven world titles already under his belt, has set his sights on another triumphant season in 2005.

The German superstar has claimed the last five drivers’ titles for Ferrari, with the Italian team crowned constructors’ champions for the past six seasons.
Even at 36, Schumacher is not ready to allow his crown to slip. “I feel as motivated as ever,” Schumacher said. “If I didn’t think I could win I wouldn’t be here. It is clear I want to win the championship.
His career began in bizarre circumstances when he was called into the Jordan team in 1991 to replace French driver Bertrand Gachot who had been jailed for a street brawl in London.
Since making his debut at Spain, Schumacher’s career has been successful, colourful and controversial. It was at Benetton where he began to shine.
