Parliamentary seats with largest number of woman candidates: Baramati (Maharashtra) -seven women candidates.
Total parties - Bharatiya Janata Party (113 of which 12 are women candidates)
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) (122 of which five are women)
Congress party (117 of which eight are women)
Communist Party of India (17 - no women contesters)
