Eight years after Rituparno Ghosh’s film Titli, actress Konkona Sen Sharma will team up once again with her mother Aparna Sen in Iti Mrinalini.

Eight years after Rituparno Ghosh’s film Titli, actress Konkona Sen Sharma will team up once again with her mother Aparna Sen in Iti Mrinalini. “My next film is Iti Mrinalini. It’s also mommy’s film. That’s about a life of an actress where both of us are acting together,” said Konkona.

Asked if she missed not being a part of her mother’s just released film, The Japanese Wife, Konkona said: “I think that Raima has done a very good job. You can’t expect that every time she (Aparna) will repeat same actors and same actresses. I have already done three films with her and I’m sure will do many more.”

Konkona is also all praise for her Mr &Mrs Iyer co-star Rahul Bose in the film. “I think this is Rahul’s best film. This is a very poignant, sweet and sad love story. It’s very unusual. This kind of film we don’t get to see always.”
