Seven passengers were killed and three were injured when the Tata Sumo they were traveling in collided with a bus on Solapur-Hyderabad national high way no 9 on Wednesday, police said.

Six of the deceased and injured are from Daund tehsil of Pune district.
They all were heading towards their native place in a Tata Sumo (MH-2-BV-2784 when it collided head on with a luxury bus (KA-01-2769) near Doddi phata, they said.
Pandurang Atole (28), Rajendra Mirgan(34), Vilas Atole (28), Sanjay Atole (25), Pravin Gawade(22), Kalyan Mind(25) and Kailas Mind(45) were identified as deceased.
Santosh Machale, Jawahar Dhumal and Nitin Bhapkar have been identified as injured.
