Date of Birth: 7 June 1975, Christchurch, Canterbury
Test Debut: Against Australia at Hobart in 2001/02
ODI Debut: Against Australia at Melbourne in 2001/02
 Bats: Right Hand Bat
 Bowls: Right Arm Fast

Perhaps the find of the tour of Australia, after being flown over as a late replacement for the injured Dion Nash.

Bond delivers the ball at good pace, being the only New Zealand bowler able to bowl at 145km+.

Chosen to make his debut in the second Test against Australia in Hobart, Bond bowled with good pace and picked up the prized wicket of Steve Waugh as his first Test wicket.

He was particularly mpressive in the third Test in Perth andwas chosen for the home Test series against Bangladesh.

Chosen for the VB series in Australia, Bond again performed well, further enhancing his reputation against top class opposition.

Captain Fleming seems to have much faith in his young speedster, which will make him a better bowler in the future.

Althought not know for his batting, he is capable of a lusty blow or two.
