The Movers and Shakers actor credits Mahesh Bhatt for spotting his son's talent. Shekhar says that he wouldn't have known his son't talent if Mahesh Bhatt hadn't signed him for Raaz and Jashn.

The movie would go on the floors in the middle of the year, however Shekhar and Adhyayan won't be in father-son role.

According to Shekhar, Adhyayan would play the role of a young heir of an empire and Shekhar would play his mentor-friend.

The actor-turned-anchor has offered the role of Adhyayan's girlfriend to Kangana.
