?Shivragni? a spirited effort
A COLOURFUL cultural programme titled ?Shivragni? was organised at DSA ground by Bharat Scouts and Guides Organisation of North Central Railway on Friday evening. General Manager, North Central Railway and patron of the Organisation Budh Prakash and his wife Manju, vice patron, graced the occasion.

The three-day Bharat Scouts and Guides camp of North Central Railway was held for the first time since the inception of NCR.
During his visit to the camp, Budh Prakash inspected various gadgets made of ropes and sticks like suspension and monkey bridges. He also released the magazine ‘Prayas’ on the occasion.
After that, Shivragni camp fire programme was started with the lighting of lamp by Manju..
The programme included Saraswati Vandana, welcome dance, tum-tum circus, Mona Goyal’s and Shubhangi Singhal’s dance under the direction of Nisha Gaur, magic show by Mohd Jabbar and a special item ‘Ek Mota Hathi’ presented by Ankit Saxena of Agra.
At the end, the general manager and vice-patron distributed shields and prizes to the winners of various performances and announced an award of Rs 20,000.
An ‘all religion meet’ was also organised on the last day of the camp on Saturday in the presence of State chief commissioner VP Pathak, state secretary BP Pandey and assistant state secetary BC Tripathi.
Medals were given to scouts and guides who made extraordinary and special contributions in any field during the camp.Thanks were also given to DRM SK Choudhary, Addl. DRM, Allahabad division Ravindra Gupta and Sr DEN Sumit Singhal for the assistance given in successful organisation of this camp, informed BP Pandey, CPRO, NCR in a press release on Saturday.
