Former Shopian SP Javed Iqbal Mattoo and former DSP Rohit Baskotra on Friday moved the Supreme Court.
They said the July 15 order of the high court was passed without making them a party to the case or hearing them. They also questioned the legality of the order divesting them of their right to approach lower court for bail after their arrest.
Four officers, including the two petitioners, were suspended on charges of destruction of evidence in the case, which led to violent protests in the Valley.
