STUDENTS OF Indore Loha Vyapari Association (ILVA) Commerce and Science College dominated in various inter-college competitions organised by R P L Maheshwari College, recently. Priyanka Goyal won the first prize in solo dance competition while Timmi Rai won the second prize in debate for speaking against the motion.

Deepa Galgalekar secured second position in rangoli contest. I L V A association president Devendra Bansal, Indore Loha Vyapari Parmarthik Trust chairman Parasmal Vora were also present at the programme. College principal Prof H K Jain congratulated the winners.

Sharma gets award

DR SHAILENDRA Sharma was felicitated with ‘Dr D K Balsere’ award for his research on ‘Hydro Bio Diversity’ at the national meet on Bio Informatics and Life Science held at Chanakya College, Bhopal, recently. Dr Shailendra Sharma is currently working as assistant professor at Zoology Department at Gujarati Science College.

Indus World seminar

FORMER DIRECTOR of Army Welfare Education Society (AEWS) Colonel KK Mowar would be the chief speaker at a seminar organised by Indus World School on the school premises for parents of the students on January 3 and January 7. The seminar would be first of its kind in the City.

During his tenure as director, Mowar had managed 116 schools and eight professional colleges having more than 1.5 lakh students. He played an instrumental role in the transformation of army schools and is know as an academician of national repute. The seminar would be open for all.
