Show cause against 15 officials in Munger

Fifteen officials have been asked by the returning officer-cum-district magistrate to explain irregularities allegedly committed during polling in Munger.

Fifteen officials, including the deputy development commissioner, Arjun Prasad, by them dhave been asked by the returning officer-cum-district magistrate, RSB Singh, to explain irregularities allegedly committed during polling in the Munger Lok Sabha constituency on May five.

Singh said on Saturday that he had asked them to submit their explanations to him within next five days.

The explanation would be forwarded later to the Election Commission for necessary action.
