Silver, gold prices register huge hike

OWING TO hike in crude oil prices in the international market, the prices of silver and gold again registered a massive hike today.

OWING TO hike in crude oil prices in the international market, the prices of silver and gold again registered a massive hike today.

The price of silver in the international market has touched $ 13 per ounce. In the domestic market, the price of silver has recorded Rs 19,900 per Kg (in MCX), whereas in the local market raw silver (tunch) was Rs 18,800 per kg and silver-999 was Rs 19,200 per kg today.

The price of gold in domestic market has been the highest in last 25 years. In the international market the gold touched $ 660 per ounce, whereas in the domestic market it was Rs 900 per gram. It was the highest is last 25 years. In the local bullion market the price recorded was Rs 900 per gram.

Local bullion trader Navneet Agarwal said in Bhopal the prices are likely to hike in future again, due to hike in price of crude oil in the world market, which would show its effect in local market too.
