To keep up the momentum in relief operations, PM Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi will soon survey the flood-hit areas and relief camps again.

To keep up the momentum in relief operations, PM Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi will soon survey the flood-hit areas and relief camps again. They had undertaken an aerial survey on Wednesday but plans are afoot for a second visit as both feel a lot more needs to be done.

PM Manmohan Singh issued an appeal to donate to the PM's National Relief Fund that had a balance of Rs 1698 crore in April 2012. Rural development ministry had announced R340 crore special package for Uttarakhand.
