The situation returned to normal after Muivah postponed his visit to a village in Manipur, his birthplace, police officials said today.
The Nagaland government as well as the PMO requested Muivah to postpone his trip, who has agreed to it.
The Manipur government has requested the Centre not to allow entry of Muivah who was involved in criminal cases in the state and ceasefire between Centre and NSCN-IM was only in force in Nagaland.
Muivah, camping at a border village since Wednesday, yesterday put on hold his visit to his ancestral village after the Centre and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio urged him to defer it and plan his tour in a more congenial atmosphere.
