As the House met to resume the debate on the confidence motion moved by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said the six members have sought leave of absence from the House on Tuesday.

Chatterjee said he has granted them leave.

However, he did not give the names of the members or the parties they belong.
