Sizzling chops

Sizzlers and steaks take top spot on Delhi’s winter menus. Here’s a round-up of some fests.

Nirula’s potpourri: Choose from vegetarian and non-vegetarian sizzlers like corn and spinach stuffed cannelloni with Portuguese sauce, paneer husseini achari, pan grilled fish with cajun spice and caper sauce, and roast leg of lamb with green pepper sauce, among others. Pair it with chilled Foster’s beer or a mocktail at a discount of 50%. The festival is currently on at all Nirula’s Potpourri outlets.

Blanco: Check out the Steak Out festival, whose USP is the wide range and choicest cuts. You can experience the tenderness of a filet mignon or appreciate the full flavour of a Sirloin steak. Vegetarian must-trys include Polenta steak with barbeque sauce and all-beans steak with wine mushroom sauce. At Blanco, 62, Khan Market, till March.

Smoke house grill: Their Carnivore Special menu brings together a range of delectable chops and cuts from around the world, including Irish angus rib eye steak, grilled Australian porterhouse steak and Brazilian T-bone steak. On at Smoke House Grill, VIPPS Centre, Plot No 2, LSC Masjid Moth, Greater Kailash II.

Pickwicks: Bite into the Surf & Turf Sizzlers (squids, salmon, tenderloin, duck leg confit, bacon with garlic sauce) or the Tandoori Sizzlers (hara kebab, tandoori, baby potatoes, tandoori broccoli, etc with BBQ sauce). On till January 24 at Pickwicks, The Claridges, 12, Aurangzeb Road.

Barcode: With six scrumptious, steaming hot sizzlers for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, this festival makes sure there’s something for everyone, and at affordable prices. On at Barcode, 31 Basant Lok Market, Vasant Vihar.
