SKIN SECURE: Body protection for Celina

Being glamorous and sexy has its occupational hazards. That is what Celina Jaitley is facing, it seems. Obsessed fans have forced the model-turned-actress to hire guards for protection.
After the bitter encounter in Mauritius, during the shooting of her recently released film Jawani Diwani, Celina developed strong aversion from her ardent lovers.
Recollecting the bad experience, Celina says, "I never thought that fans could turn so cheap and lecherous until it happened to me in Mauritius. When I was busy with an interview with a journalist and was about to go for a shot, a local man, in the age group of 40, came in front of me and started taking his clothes off! Yes, he was literally stripping. He exposed himself completely and was not ready to leave that place until the crewmembers came to my rescue. With a lot of difficulty, he was dragged out of that area. It was the most disgusting experience of my life. It happened for the first time to me. Before this I used to hear all sorts of things other actresses had experienced. I used to think that why would it happen to me. But that incident was truly an eye-opener. I started feeling insecure after that scene. Now, I am not as comfortable as I used to be earlier."
But Celina is not alone. Flamboyant hotties like Mallika Shehrawat, Meghna Naidu, Riya Sen, Bipasha Basu and many others have been subjected to similar kind of public harassment by their fans in the past. So much so that Mallika chose to be surrounded by bodyguards when attending public functions.
"I narrated the whole incident to my father so I could take his suggestions. He advised me to hire security men so that I can fearlessly move around in public places and also party and film shootings. Now, I have one man to keep my crazy fans under control. But definitely I love to be without fans rather than having some obsessed lover around!" says Jaitley.
