A NIFT graduate, Sonam started his very own design studio 'SANSKAR' in 1999. The essence of 'SANSKAR' lies in creating a combination of Indian and oriental styles. His Fall/Winter 2003-2004 collection comprising stitched stripes and encrusted embroidery is creatively inspired by the Tibetan apron and traditional Tibetan jewellery.
